Liz Holmes - Roses in a Glass Jar

After graduating from Edinburgh Art College, Liz taught art on both sides of the border, to secondary school students and adults. 

Having regularly painted birds and animals in the landscape, she has continued to use these subjects , drawing inspiration from her rural surroundings in Berwickshire and Northumberland.

Liz has exhibited locally and in Edinburgh and has completed a number of commissions. She has work in private collections in England and in Scotland.

Liz paints mostly in acrylic and in watercolour.
