Pauline Montgomery

Scottish ceramic artist Pauline Montgomery lives and works in Glasgow. She fell in love with ceramics by accident when she was given a ball of clay in the first year of her degree course at the Glasgow School of Art in 1992. Pauline graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Ceramic Design in 1996 but it wasn’t until after bringing up her family, all the time working in retail, that she finally managed to purchase her own kiln and return to full time making.

Everything Pauline produces is individually hand built using earthenware and Scottish brick clay.
