My passion is drawing, l carry a sketchbook when I walk - I then enjoy using printmaking techniques to translate these ideas into a range of original artists prints. 

   Solar plate etching 

 I use a light sensitive plate overlaid with a translucent film which holds the drawing, this is exposed to a UV light - the light hardens the exposed areas and the drawing protects the dark areas which stay soft allowing them to be rinsed away, creating an etch or groove in the metal, which holds the ink. A very sensitive, though simple process, best of all - non toxic.
