olivia lomenech gill goose golden egg copperplate etching dockside gallery

Post ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Olivia was interested in studying more of the ‘real’ species that inspired her work for J K Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts, how ordinary species are fantastic, and also their relationship to folk and fairy tales. This is a copperplate etching of a greylag goose, with chîne collé, this refers to the in-print collage process of fine Japanese paper, in this case, gold leaf.
