Mhairi McGregor RSW
Mhairi McGregor was born in Paisley in 1971. At the Glasgow School of Art she studied under, amongst others, James Robertson and Barbara Rae RA, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1993.
Throughout her career, multi-award-winning McGregor has travelled extensively, painted and exhibited in Europe, Australia, Canada and the USA, as well as finding constant inspiration in her native Scotland. In pursuit of subject matter she has lived and worked in Italy, France, Spain, the USA, Canada and, most of all, her “second home”, Australia.
Collections include the Royal Scottish Academy, Fleming Holdings and Aberdeen University and private collections across the UK as well as the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
