Mark Beresford

Mark is based in Sheffield and specialises in painting cities reflecting on his childhood memories of weather, light and busy people. Outside of the city he draws further inspiration from the neighbouring rugged landscape of the Derbyshire Peak District. 

His great escape is undoubtedly the Isles of Scilly. “The endless white sands, blue seas and shear tranquility of the beautiful  isles add to my work.”

Mark produces paintings from hours of observation rather than study. 

Mark exhibits all over the UK, and he is available for commissions.
