Lindsay Johnston
A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, I live in the North West Highlands. I make one of a kind pieces using traditional goldsmithing techniques. I like to combine cabochons and facetted stones to evoke a positive feeling, like a happy memory or a sense of fun. I enjoy having a juxtaposition of textured finishes in the metal. I like to use silver and gold. I strive for balance and include elements that suit the flow of the individual design often with an asymmetric feel. I want my pieces to feel easy to wear whilst being eye-catching and empowering. I thoroughly enjoy each part of the process and spend a lot of time on getting the finish right. I use ethically sourced stones, gemstones and recycled precious metals. The pieces come in eco-friendly bespoke presentation boxes and packaging.
