Karen Rogers

Karen Rogers is a mixed media artist based in East Lothian. While Karen’s main interest and inspiration is landscape, she doesn’t confine herself to the superficial and likes to delve into the history beneath the surface; portraying the ancient land and the marks we leave on it. With acrylics and fabric she uses collage to build up layers, and mixed media including threads, hand embroidery and machine free stitch for mark-making and texture.
